Plant Sale 2024

Follow the path to the rear of the home or access the nursery from the Portage Bikeway Trail. We are between Cypress and Rothbury Streets.
Our perennials plant sale includes a variety of plants from local gardens. We also have award winning Daylilies and Iris cultivars.

Nearly all of our profits from the sales benefit local charities. We have donated to the following: Kalamazoo Nature Center, Portage Community Center to their Food Pantry, the Children’s Christmas Party and many mittens, gloves, & hats for those in need, Kalamazoo in Bloom, Twelve Baskets Food Pantry, Power-Up Backpacks, Loda Lake MGC, Michigan Garden Club Scholarship fund, National Garden Clubs-Global Partner Running Water
Our annual plant sale is the major fund-raiser of the Club, and supports all of our projects. The plants are all locally grown by Club members and friends, so are well adapted to our climate. As a general rule, these are plants that have done so well that we need to share them! This year’s sale was a great success, and we are already looking forward to and planning for next year’s sale.
Each year, any unsold plants are returned our “nursery” for further nurturing and will return to next years sale with another year’s growth. We’re happy to sell plants during the summer, as well. Shoot us an email from the “contact us” page and we’ll get in touch with you.
